Virtus Training in the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas


1. Cristo Rey Kansas City High School – tutoring

Tutors needed to work individually with tudents.  Mentoring also available.
Virtus & computer training required.
Urgent needs:  Weekdays 11 am – 12:30 pm, September thru April.

CRKS will provide orientation for volunteers.

2. Holy Name of Jesus – tutoring

Virtus training required. Helping tutor students & school projects.

3. Little Sisters of the Poor 

Jeanne Jugan Center, Little Sisters of the Poor, Raytown, MO.  Volunteer on “Main Street” with coffee & gift shops, or assist the poor & elderly with personal interaction in their beautiful facility or outdoors.

4. Catholic Charities/MO

Serve & Lift Center of Catholic Charities-Kansas City / St. Joseph Diocese – volunteer to help in the food pantry, grocery shopping, guest greeting & intake.

Services:

  • TurnStyles Thrift stores – multiple locations
  • Shalom House (for men)
  • New Roots for Refugees
  • Hope Distribution Centers – food pantry, etc.
