2018 Ladies of Charity Christmas Luncheon

Kansas City Ladies of Charity celebrate another year of Vincentian model of service at Christmas luncheon

The Metropolitan Kansas City Ladies of Charity celebrated the closing of another successful year on December 6, 2018 at Blue Hills Country Club in Kansas City, Missouri. The day began with Mass presided by Father Michael Mulhearn, C.M. and music provided by singers Sarah McEnerny and Theresa Moyer and accompanist Mary Ann Caffrey.

This was followed by an opportunity to browse and purchase beautiful Christmas gifts at the boutique. A lovely backdrop of snow and chilly weather added to the wintry feel! Huge poinsettias on all the tables and around the altar further enhanced the festive look.

Following a delicious luncheon meal, President Rosemary Nelson presented checks to the KC Metro Ladies of Charity beneficiaries Seton Center, Cristo Rey, Villa St. Francis and Duschesne Clinic. She also announced that there are 41 new members who have jumped in and are on board volunteering and serving on committees. What an effort put forth by the membership committee!
