HEALTH AND HOPE Breakfast benefits Caritas Clinics

Ladies of Charity of Metro KC Support Clinics’ Mission to Serve the Poor

Members of Ladies of Charity of Metro KC were invited to the HEALTH AND HOPE breakfast on October 9, 2018 held at the Overland Park Convention Center. This event highlights the Caritas Clinics’ mission while raising funds for them. Ladies of Charity KC provides ongoing support of Caritas Clinics which include the Duchesne Clinic in Wyandotte County and St. Vincent Clinic in Leavenworth County.

Both Duchesne Clinic and St. Vincent Clinic provide primary care for low-income, uninsured adults in a welcoming, compassionate environment. These facilities are often referred to as health care “safety nets” that serve people regardless of ability to pay while  providing primary care, acute care and preventive care along with chronic disease management and referrals.
